Until you've viewed the front range of Colorado from the top of a mountain 14,000 feet in the air, you can't understand my perspective of this wonderful state.

Denver and the greater metropolitan area, is now a bustling city of 2.3 million people.

To the North

Coming from Boulder moving west to east one will encounter quiet suburbs such as Louisville, Broomfield, Westminster, Thornton, Northglen, and Brighton which is closely located to the new Denver International Airport (DIA)

Central

Suburbs of Golden, Morrison, Lakewood, Wheatridge, and Aurora, surround the Denver metro area.

To the South

Neighborhoods like Littleton, Englewood, Parker, and Highlands Ranch are located just miles from the city and newly built Park Meadows Mall, which provides acres and acres of lavish shopping.

Surrounding Areas

• To the west of Denver lies world famous skiing areas such as Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Beaver Creek, and Vail to name a few. All of these areas are within short driving distances from the city.
• To the south of Denver, along Interstate 25, lie more quiet rural areas such as Castle Rock, Franktown, and Larkspur.
  

Pikes Peak - 14, 110 ft.

Although you can actually drive on a highway to the top of this peak or view it as a passenger on the cog rail, only the hearty in spirit and body can claim a view of the valley after a long day's hike.

About Colorado Springs

• Since 1992, Colorado Springs has been home for my family. I have watched it grow tremendously since then, and it remains a popular choice for people settling in the Rocky Mountains.
• Colorado Springs is home of the World Arena, U.S. Olympic Training Center, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and Norad Space Command Center.
• It is also home to the beautiful Garden of the Gods and Broadmoor Hotel. The majority of the Colorado Springs area rests against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, with the majestic Pikes Peak as it's focal point.
• Colorado Springs is a sigh of relief to busy city life, and is a spectacular place to raise a family.
